Anke gained her qualification as a physiotherapist in Germany in 2005. Since 2008 she has been calling Australia home, and has completed a postgraduate Master of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy in 2009 and a Master of Physiotherapy in 2015 at UniSA in Adelaide. In addition, Anke obtained her Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction with Polestar Pilates Australia in 2014 and a Graduate Certificate of International Health and Development at Tabor College in 2020.
Anke has gained most of her professional experience in private practice focusing on musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. In 2020 and 2021 she worked in a medical mission role as a physiotherapist in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea. Anke values working in a multidisciplinary team and likes to guide the patient within that environment. She has a passion for combining hands-on treatment with physical exercises and particularly appreciates the benefits of Pilates to her patients’ health.
