Anke gained her qualification as a physiotherapist in Germany in 2005 and moved to Australia in 2008. In Australia she completed a Master of Physiotherapy as well as a Master of Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy.
Anke has gained most of her professional experience in private practice, focusing on musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. As one of her career highlights, she worked as a physiotherapist in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea for two years.
While she enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions, Anke has a special interest in treating headaches and neck pain and is a Watson Headache® Certified Practitioner. She likes helping patients who experience any type of headaches, including migraines, tension headache and cervicogenic headache, no matter whether it be a longstanding or rather recent condition.
Anke values working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and brings an empathetic, client centred approach to every client she consults with.
